STORY LINE

A young lion club, Simba, struggles to find his place in nature's "circle of life" and follow in the steps of his father, Mufasa, after his father is killed by his uncle, Scar. Scar convinces Simba that he is responsible for the death of his father and forced to run far from the Pride Lands. The exiled Simba is befriended by a warthog, Pumbaa, and a meerkat, Timon, who shows him the ways of "hakuna matata" (no worries). When Simba's childhood friend, Nala, arrives she persuades him to return to the Pride Lands to regain control from Scar. The shaman baboon, Rafiki, convinces Simba that his father's spirit lives within him and he must accept him responsibility; and defeats Scar and the army of hyenas.
