"Carnival of the Animals"
(Le Carnaval des Animaux) Finale

Eric Goldberg

Composed by Camille Saint-Saens
Animator Director: Eric Goldberg
Art Director: Susan McKinsey Goldberg
Original idea from Joe Grant

"Carnival of the Animals" by Camille Saint-Saens. A madcap look at the world of Flamingos and asks the question, "What would happen if you gave a yo-yo to a bunch of Flamingos?" The main concept was that the main character was standing out from the flock, with his purple-ish nose and a lighter pink colored body. Over 4,000 drawings were used for this two minute piece, most were hand painted using water colors.
